The myth
Born of the celestial bloodline of Zeus and preserved from the deluge that engulfed the sacred Aegean isles, Dardanus crossed the straits to strike his spear into the foothills of Mount Ida, where he raised the citadel of Dardania, united the Anatolian peoples under the sacred aegis of the Palladium, and founded the immortal dynasty of kings and champions whose legacy would echo from the ashes of Troy to the eternal hills of Rome.
