Ability
Nobody's Ruse. Two spearmen of Ithaca answer and join your hand — they don't come from your deck, don't count as life and take up no room. If Polyphemus is in the rival's hand or on the field, the cyclops is banished from the match and the spearmen arrive worn from the crossing (4/6); if not, they land at full strength (6/6).
The myth
On a lawless island, where giants herded their flocks without gods or assemblies, a man found himself sealed behind a stone no human strength could shift. He watched six of his men devoured and kept his sword sheathed, for he understood that killing the monster meant dying with it. So he did what no hero had done before: he gave up his blade, gave up his name, and called himself Nobody. With unmixed wine he felled the giant, with an olive stake hardened in the fire he quenched the single eye, and he escaped slung beneath the belly of a ram while the blinded creature, groping, stroked the very fleece that hid him. Yet out at sea, drunk on his own cleverness, he shouted his true name across the water — and handed the son of Poseidon the one weapon he still lacked. The curse crossed the waves ahead of him. Ten years of sea, every companion dead, and a lone return to a house already taken: that was the price of one sentence spoken too many.
